Farhan Akhtar and Adhuna Bhabani's marriage was already on rocks and the duo had filed for a divorce in October 2016. Finally after six months, the couple has finally granted a legal divorce. The couple appeared at the Bandra Family Court where they were granted divorce on mutual grounds. 

Farhan and Adhuna have two daughters Shakya and Akira and the custody for the children will remain with Adhuna while Farhan will have full access over them.

The couple was married in the year 2000 after dating for almost two years.
