Farhan referred to as 'Pakistani' for taking a stand in Dadri lynching case

7th October 2015

Actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar recently took a stand against the Mohammad Akhlaq lynching case in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh.

Farhan had openly expressed his disgust about the incident and had commented on his facebook page as, "The Shame of Dadri and Thwarting of the Mahatma's Dream."

This statement by the actor didn't go down well with the people and a lady asked him to react to the incident where a man had killed his daughter as her head wasn't properly covered.

The lady posted on her facebook page, "Yesterday you were crying so hard for the Dadri case. Your brother has killed his kid for not wearing Burqa while eating. Any words you Pakistani Akhthar?"

Farhan did not stay back and immediately responded back with a fitting reply of his own and said, "Yes, I hope he rots in jail... Which he will. .. and I hope you grow a brain. Which I doubt you will. But all the best."
