Indian rock music drama 'Rock On' became a huge hit in 2008, thus following it, Excel Entertainment has embarked on a new journey to present its sequel 'Rock on 2'.

Producer Ritesh Sidhwani confirmed the news of the sequel going on floors in Shillong on October 6, 2015 on twitter. He wrote, "And we Rock N Roll #RockOn2 in #shillong," along with a film clap with all the details of the movie going on floors.

The crew will shoot in Shillong for a month. While the core cast remains the same, Shraddha Kapoor is the latest addition to the project.
