(Cover) - EN Showbiz - George Clooney will be spending his Christmas vacation without his girlfriend, it appears.

The 50-year-old actor arrived at his favourite Mexican resort yesterday but his partner Stacy Keibler was noticeably absent.

George will not be totally by himself however, as his dear friends Cindy Crawford and her husband Randy Gerber are also along for the trip with their two children Presley and Kaia.

Stacy has been a constant companion for the A-list star in recent months and it is unknown whether she has opted to spend the holidays with her family or if the pair have decided to take a break.

The 33-year-old former wrestler was with George and his famous friends when they spent Thanksgiving together in Cabo San Lucas and has travelled the globe as he promoted his new movie.

But while Stacy has been vocal about her "love" for The Descendents star and posted on her Twitter page about things they have done together, George likes to keep his relationship details top secret.

Earlier this month Stacy said she was eagerly anticipating all the wonderful presents she will receive over the holidays, but maintained that she doesn't need to be lavished with expensive gifts.

"I really like gifts that are more thoughtful. I like gifts that are photo albums, scrapbooks... massage gift certificates are also nice," she told Extra TV. (C) Cover Media
