Government's snail's pace of work for Dr. Raj memorial
15th April 2011
On Tuesday 12th of April 2011, five years after the passing away of Dr. Rajakumar, the memorial work that began three years ago, is still going on at a snail's pace.
Speaking on behalf of the government, Vishukumar, the director of Kanteerava Studios, says that the two water points at Kanteerava Studios have dried up and that has resulted in the stalling of the Dr. Rajakumar Memorial work.
This is a lame reason, is what the fans have expressed in anger, when they thronged to pay their respects at the samadhi at Kanteerava studios, where 2.5 acres land has been set aside for Dr. Raj's memorial.
Superstar Shivarajakumar, eldest son of Dr. Rajakumar, is hopeful that the memorial will be completed by June, this year.
