Though it was written in the eighteenth century, the kids of today are equally interested to read Gullivers Travels and since most kids today prefer to watch more than they want to read, Gullivers Travels is a must watch for them. Reports suggest that critics are of the opinion that the big screen version will not justify the story penned by Jonathan Swift and will only rely on slapstick humor and special effects for showing good results at the box office, nevertheless most people will want to take a look at the film this Christmas.
The film puts Gulliver in the modern world where he is an aspiring journalist who loses his way upon reaching the Bermuda Triangle where he comes across the Lilliput and gets involved in their lives. It is when the Lilliput go to war that Gulliver has to prove to them that he is really their hero.
Being a 2010 release, Gullivers Travels comes back to the silver screen in 3D, all the more reason for children to go and watch the film. Analysts also feel that small-sized children who have always aspired to feel important and wanted may seek inspiration from Gullivers Travels.
