Hindi cinema's latest pin-up boy Ranveer Singh, who floored everyone with his performance in his debut film 'Band Baaja Baaraat', is these days quoting a certain famous saying in Bollywood. After claiming that he and his 'BBB' co-star Anushka Sharma are great of friends & not a couple, Ranveer, the other day, was heard singing a different tune.

On the day when the world was celebrating friendship day, Ranveer, at a recent event, was asked whether he believes in a girl and boy being 'just friends'. He was spontaneous and a sporting enough to give an honest reply. He stated that he thinks a girl and a boy can never be just friends.

According to him, when it happens, it's really a special one. When quizzed about his equation with Anushka as friend, he smartly replied that Anushka has been an amazing co-star. When further questioned about his comments on his equation with Anushka on a chat show recently, he replied that whatever he had said with regard to the bond was stated in true respect. Apart from talking about Anushka, Ranveer disclosed that director Shaad Ali is a close industry buddy.
