Of lately every filmmaker is having item numbers in their films, irrespective of the genre, story, plot or theme. An item number is a must for every film these days. And hence Madhur Bhandarkar's film 'Heroine' starring Kareena Kapoor was no different. 

The actress who plays the main lead will do the thumkas for 'Halkat Jawani' which is touted to be her raunchiest ever. But before the making, a strong dictate was given to choreographer Ganesh Acharya who choreographed the dance steps for the number. 

With each passing item number there is a competition to outdo the last popular number, and hence when Ganesh was called on board he was asked to make it edgier than 'Chikni Chameli' which he choreographed last. The dance steps had become a rage and Madhur-Kareena both wanted to outdo the number and come up with better dance steps.

"After Chikni Chameli, there was definitely a lot of pressure to create the magic in 'Halkat Jawani', but this song, I guarantee, is going to be a dhamaka," says Ganesh who is super confident of the song, who further added that Kareena is going to stun the audience. 

"Kareena has done justice to the song, the dance sequence and the expressions. Yeh, Kareena ki life ka best gaana hai," added the choreographer.

The film 'Heroine' is slated to release on September 21.
