(Cover) - EN Showbiz - A Beverly Hills salon owner who had clients like Halle Berry, Cher, Liv Tyler and Jennifer Aniston has been found guilty of illegally using their credit card information.

Maria Hashemipour was sentenced to five years' probation and nine months house arrest for fraudulently using the celebrities' private details.

She had pled guilty to fraud charges and was formally sentenced in Los Angeles on Monday.

In court documents obtained by US website Radaronline, the United States Attorney's Office asked for a tough sentence on Maria including that she be made to pay $511,312.26 in restitution.

Maria was accused of preying on her celebrity and high income clients and ringing up unauthorised charges in the hope that it would go unnoticed.

Her fraudulent scheme apparently went on for five years and she is thought ot have illegally pocketed $800,000 from her clients.

She made 112 fraudulent charges on 20 credits cards from 17 of her high flying clients who used her to keep their faces camera ready. (C) Cover Media
