(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Halle Berry scored a major victory in court yesterday in her ongoing custody battle with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubrey.
The Canadian model's lawyer had requested that the family court judge alter the most recent guardianship agreement he made with the actress in August.
Gabriel was happy with the amount of time he got to spend with three-year-old daughter Nahla, but wanted the stipulation of a nanny having to be present during his visitation to be lifted.
But a judge in a Los Angeles court took Halle's side and ordered that Gabriel's time with Nahla continue to be monitored.
Gabriel is allowed three hours alone with Nahla to go to a park or undertake another activity, but the remainder of the time a nanny or third party has to be present, the judge said, especially during overnight visits.
An insider told RadarOnline that Gabriel is angry that he is not being permitted to care for his daughter by himself and that having a nanny present all the time is causing an issue with his relationship with the toddler.
Gabriel is currently in Majorca to help take care of Nahla while Halle continues to film her upcoming movie Cloud Atlas.
The former couple's custody arrangement reportedly states that Halle has to put Gabriel up in the same standard of hotel that she is staying in, even if that means a five star lodging. (C) Cover Media
