(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Halle Berry's alleged stalker has been charged with residential burglary.
Richard Anthony Franco appeared in a Los Angeles court today where he was hit with the charge.
He had previously pled not guilty to felony stalking after being arrested on the actress's property earlier this month.
Richard had allegedly trespassed on Halle's property three times in as many days before finally being captured by her security team after he jumped over her wall.
He has been ordered back to court on August 4.
If Richard is convicted he could spend up to six years in prison for the burglary charge alone and more for felony stalking.
Halle said when the incident happened that she was shaken by the invasion of her privacy and was granted a temporary restraining order to keep the alleged assailant away from her and her family.
"This person has jeopardized not only my personal safety, but also the safety and well-being of my family," the Oscar winner said. (C) Cover Media
