Mohit Suri's Emraan Hashmi -Vidya Balan starrer forthcoming, 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' has been given a U certification by Censor board after evaluation. The film is set to hit theatres on June 12 which also stars national award winning actor, Rajkummar Rao.
Suri recently said, "My film is a complete family movie. It is about love and longing. It questions the known meaning of what love between a man and woman should be because my film shows a married woman fall in love with a man after her husband disappears on her."
Recently Mohit's leading lady Vidya was conferred with a Doctor of Arts Honoris Causa degree by Rai University, an Ahmedabad based institute relishing her contribution to Indian Cinema and her support for womanhood through silver screen.
Vidya expressed, "It is truly humbling and overwhelming to receive this honour. What makes this even more special is that I complete ten years in the film industry this year. There can be no bigger compliment for any actor than to have done work that has made a significant mark and also to be looked upon as a role model by young India. I hope to live up to the title."
