(Cover) - EN Movies - Hilary Swank has laughingly agreed shes not the prettiest actress.

The Hollywood actress has received the best actress Oscar twice. The star won the prestigious awards as Brandon Teena, a transgender teen, in Boys Dont Cry, and as struggling female boxer Maggie Fitzgerald in Million Dollar Baby.

Despite her undisputed talent, the 36-year-olds appearance has been called into question during an interview with a radio host.

During an interview on KCRW yesterday, Hilary was on the receiving end of a brutally honest attack from presenter Kim Masters. Hilary was explaining how ageing actresses can still pick up great roles in Hollywood and used veteran American actress Meryl Streep as an example, before Kim replied with an unsavoury response.

"But she's the exception... she's not like the pretty girl... and you're not either, she said.

Hilary, who was taken aback by the comment, replied in jest. The brunette star then continued to agree with the radio host.

Hey what are you trying to say? she joked, before saying she completely understood the point in question.

The actress has most recently starred in thriller movie The Resident, which was out earlier this year. (C) Cover Media
