Ashutosh Gowariker's next tentatively titled as 'Mohenjo Daro' has hit a road block. Hrithik Roshan has injured his shoulder while working out in the gym and the doctor has advised him complete rest for the next six weeks.
The project which was supposed to flag off at the end of November, will now go on floor in January 2015.
However, unlike other filmmakers, Ashutosh is not tearing his hair over the delay. The film demands loads of action stunts and thus the filmmaker wants to wait till the actor recovers to perform it.
A source informs, "Mohenjo Daro is a physically demanding film with some challenging action sequences which will be shot in the first schedule itself. Both Ashutosh and Hrithik being the perfectionists that they are did not want to shoot these scenes with a body double. Ashutosh has decided to push the shoot to next year so that Hrithik is fighting fit, lean and strong, when he reports on the sets."
Ashutosh's wife Sunita Gowariker told a publication, "Yes, it is true that we have postponed the shoot of Mohenjo Daro. Both Ashutosh and I wanted Hrithik to recuperate fully before beginning the film since we plan to start with action sequences. Now we will start shooting in the first week of January. It is important to us that Hrithik is 100 per cent fit and shifting the shooting dates by a few weeks makes a lot of sense."
