Both stars are fresh from their last releases and they join the list of the most unexpected stars to be paired together in a romantic comedy. We are talking about Irrfan Khan and Aditi Rao Hydari who are riding high on success post the super success of their films 'Paan Singh Tomar' and 'London Paris New York'. 

The two stars have been casted opposite each other in filmmaker Anjum Rizvi's next production that will be a romantic comedy set in the rustic backdrop of Uttar Pradesh. The film will be directed by Shivam Nair who has directed 'Ahista Ahista' in past. The film is said to be a rural love story where Irrfan plays the local band member who plays instruments in local weddings. Aditi will play his romantic interest as a village girl with the cute looks and cut throat appeal. The film has been in the minds of the makers for quite some time now and Irrfan was finalized way before he started shooting for 'Paan Singh Tomar'. However, the team was waiting for the right female lead which they luckily found in Aditi. 

Now that they have locked in their leading cast, the shooting of the film is expected to hit the floors soon.
