Bollywood super star Shah Rukh Khan already has quite a few honors and doctorate degrees bestowed upon him. Sometimes for his super success as a global star or sometimes for his contribution towards human society, he has been the idol for all. And soon, yet another feather will be added to his already decorated cap. 

The Indian star has been selected to join the roster of Yale University's Chubb Fellows, one of the Ivy League institution's highest honours, on April 12 for promoting human ideals through art. Throughout his two decade long career SRK has done several films which have earned him the tag of a global star. And it seems that it is this international image that does him more good than anything else in the world.

Apart from Shah Rukh, many other internationally acclaimed stars too will be bestowed with the same honor. The list includes heads of states, Nobel Prize winners, and idols from various arenas. The other stars who have been showered with the same honor in past are Presidents George W Bush, Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter; authors Octavio Paz, Carlos Fuentes and Toni Morrison; filmmaker Sofia Coppola; architect Frank Gehry; choreographer Mikhail Baryshnikov; and journalist Walter Cronkite.

Apart from gracing the ceremony on April 12th, SRK is even slated to address the public there.
