Preity Zinta's maiden production release which is 'Ishkq in Paris' has been delayed. Apparently, the actress has decided to postpone the movie release irrespective of all the money put in the making and the dates.

Unfortunately, the director of the movie Prem Soni is suffering from stomach cancer due to which he will need to fly to the U.K. to fight the disease. The surgery is scheduled in December, hence Prem will leave in the first week of the month.

Due to this, Preity has made it very clear to the entire team of 'Ishkq in Paris' that the movie will release only when Prem returns and completes the post-production work.

Though the director has handed over his job to someone else, Preity cleary stated that they will both work together for this film and if this means waiting, she is ready to do so.

This makes the movie release uncertain until Prem hopefully returns and recovers from his surgery in December itself.

Here is what the disheartened director had to say regarding his grief, "Hopefully I will be fully healed after the surgery. I have a very simple logic for being hopeful. How much more would God want to test me?"
