(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jason Sudeikis is worried he's missed his chance with Betty White.

The 35-year-old actor has discusses his romantic preferences in a new interview, and jokingly admitted he harbours a crush on Betty. The 89-year-old appeared in US sitcom The Golden Girls and has enjoyed a career resurgence of late after appearing in movie The Proposal and television series Hot in Cleveland.

"I think I missed my opportunity with Betty White. She got too big too soon on the second go-around," he told Playboy.

"There was a whole chunk of time between Golden Girls and that Snickers commercial when I could've made something happen. Now I can't get near her."

Jason is currently single. He previously dated January Jones and has been bombarded by rumours he fathered her baby after she announced she was pregnant.

Although he didn't talk about that with the publication, Jason did open up about finding love. He doesn't accept it's more difficult to date when you're famous, although he admits the situation is very different for men and women.

"Tabloids in general are more about the ladies than the fellas. There are exceptions, like Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise, but of the nine or so people who are usually on the covers of those magazines, seven of them are women," he explained.

"It doesn't matter to me if someone is in movies or on TV or not. Nice people are nice people. Pretty people are pretty people."

Jason then opened up about his love affair with adult publication Playboy, which is famed for its pictures of scantily-clad women. The star was raised around the magazine as his father was a fan, meaning he knows a great deal about the women who have graced its pages.

"My mom got my dad a Playboy subscription as a wedding gift way back in 1969, so I grew up in a house where Playboy was readily available," he said.

"I have a strong face and name recognition for Playmates between the late 1980s and early 1990s, and a lot of those images are still floating around up there in my head." (C) Cover Media
