Jennifer Hudson offers diet advice

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jennifer Hudson has been giving Jordin Sparks diet and fitness tips.

The actress-and-singer has undergone a dramatic image overhaul over the last few years, slimming from a US size 16 to a 4. Jordin has also shown off a more toned physique over the last few months, and it's been claimed she turned to Jennifer for help.

The younger star decided to get in shape in December, following a love split. She had followed Jennifer's transformation with awe and knew she'd be the perfect person to hive her advice.

"Jordin confessed to Jennifer that she desperately needed help to lose weight," a source told National Enquirer. "Jennifer was happy to help."

Jennifer suggested Jordin should write down everything she eats to keep an eye on her food intake. She also shared some healthy recipes she's grown to love and even introduced the 21-year-old to a fitness guru who puts her through her exercise paces.

"Jennifer kept reminding Jordin that portion control is the most important aspect of slimming down and suggested she cut out sugar and refined wheat flour," the source added.

"She also told Jordin that she'd be thankful for all the hard work come summertime when she'd be able to slip into a bikini and feel like a million bucks."

Jordin recently admitted reducing the size of her meals has been invaluable in helping her slim down. (C) Cover Media
