Jessica Alba's green lifestyle company is a "labour of love."

The 30-year-old actress who is mother to three-year-old daughter Honor and five-month-old daughter Haven embarked on business endeavour The Honest Company in January.

The company has a website Honest.com that sells ecofriendly and toxin-free domestic and baby products.

Jessica loves pouring energy into this enterprise.

"[My favourite thing to do with my time is to] work on Honest.com," she told In Touch magazine. "It is really a labour of love, as we plan on evolving as a brand. I'm always searching for the best nontoxic, ecofriendly products for baby, children and home and thinking of ways to innovate in those areas through function and design."

Jessica works hard, but she finds the time to reward herself for her efforts.

"[My guilty pleasure is getting] a massage and a facial," she shared.

Jessica has spoken previously about what environment she aims to create for her customers.

"I wanted it to be safe and I wanted it to be cute," Jessica explained to Extra earlier this year. "This is my dream company."

Jessica will be releasing a book called The Honest Life on the subject.

The guidebook will help others to create a nontoxic life for their families and includes all of her favourite things, including some beloved family recipes and fun family DIY projects.

The Honest Life is slated for release in early 2013.
