(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jessica Simpson says Christmas is her favourite time of year.

The singer is currently promoting her festive-themed album, Happy Christmas. She was thrilled to be able to record a string of popular yuletide tunes and hopes people will enjoy listening to her latest musical offering.

"Christmas is my favourite time of year, so it made sense that my next record that I do would be another Christmas record, she explained. I want to be able to sing every Christmas song that there is, so this is album No. 2."

Jessica went on to reveal the song which means the most to her on the new album is Merry Christmas Baby, a duet which she recorded with country music star Willie Nelson.

The 30-year-old beauty recently got engaged to former American football star Eric Johnson. Jessica cant wait to spend the holiday season with her new fianc and her family, and insists there isnt anything on her Christmas list because she already has everything she needs.

"This would definitely go down in history as one of the best holiday presents that there is," she beamed, showing off her ruby-and-diamond engagement ring. (C) Cover Media
