(Cover) - EN Star Style - Jessie J is moving away from black eye make-up to experiment with colourful shades.

The 23-year-old British singer, who has penned tracks for stars such as Chris Brown and Miley Cyrus, teamed her raven-haired bob with dark eye cosmetics for many years to create a dramatic aesthetic.

However, the songstress has now come to realise brighter shades on the eyes can look just as good, and credits Rihanna's make-up artist for the change.

"I used to think it was all about black eye make-up, but I've been working with Rihanna's make-up artist and she's persuaded me to be more adventurous," explained Jessie. "I'm loving yellows and pinks on my eyes and using false lashes."

The talented star also owns hundreds of lipsticks and can frequently be seen sporting daring shades. Jessie thinks MAC make some of the most interesting colours.

"I've always loved lipstick, but my collection has grown I now have more than 300," she told the British edition of In Style. "Some of my favourite shades are by MAC." (C) Cover Media
