The British songstress has risen to success after the launch of her debut album Who You Are, which has already gone platinum in the UK.

The raven-haired star wants to make the most of her new-found success, but will never lose sight of the reason why she's in the industry to make music.

"I've always loved making music and that's always been at the forefront. But why shouldn't I do a clothing line? Why shouldn't I have a perfume?" she mused in Glamour magazine. "Someone said to me, Is it music or fame?' And it's music, always."

Jessie wants to accomplish a number of things in her career. The 23-year-old star thinks having a number of ventures is part and parcel of being in the public eye.

"I want to do so much. I'm writing a musical; I want to star in a film; write a film; I'd love to start charities; have TV shows. I just think Why not?'" she explained. (C) Cover Media
