(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jessie J will return to the stage in October after cancelling a string of performances due to a foot injury.

The British singer broke her foot in rehearsal earlier this summer and was ordered to rest by doctors. All of her summer concerts were cancelled as a result of the injury. Her foot is healing well and now Jessie is planning her return to the stage.

Jessie's first performance post-injury will be at the MOBOs (Music of Black Origin) awards which will be held in Glasgow, Scotland, in October. Other performers on the night include Alexis Jordan and Katy B. Jessie is elated to be able to entertain fans again and is even more excited about performing at one of her favourite award ceremonies.

"I cannot wait to rock the stage," said Jessie. "I have always wanted to perform at the MOBO Awards and it's an honour to be asked. Good times!"
