Another actor joins the actor turned producers’ bandwagon…The latest to join the list is action star John Abraham…
Bollywood’s hottest hunk John Abraham is all set to launch his own production house JA (John Abraham) Entertainment Pvt. Ltd and plans to make cutting edge entertaining movies with international appeal.
While John has already produced some commercials, he will now be venturing into feature films and plans to begin with the movie ‘Vicky Donor’ to be directed by Shoojit Sircar in association with Rising Suns Films Pvt. Ltd. Interestingly the actor doesn’t plan to star in the film. Says John, “It was a conscious decision to not act in my first production because I believe producing a film is about creating quality content that I believe in. Shoojit is a director par excellence, and when he narrated the script to me I wanted to bring this breakthrough commercial cinema to the audience at large."
The director of the film Shoojit Sircar further added, “John has agreed to take this film ahead as his first venture as producer. We are on the same wavelength, which is most important for any relationship.”
Meanwhile John is also busy with his upcoming movie ‘Desi Boyz’ costarring with Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone and Chitrangada Singh which is set to release on 25th November, 2011.
