Joker's forest to cost 3 crores

21st April 2011
If you thought Shahrukh Khan is the only star who has been spending too much of money on his sci-fi film RA-One's sets, then it's time for a Bollywood update, as the recent buzz suggests that Shirish Kunder is one step ahead in spending million bucks over his partly 3D film 'Joker'. The 'Tees Maar Khan' director Shirish, has tagged 'Joker' as the most ambitious film of his career and hence is leaving no stone unturned to make sure everything is perfect in it.

The film, that has major scenes to be shot in forests, requires a huge space around to give the special effects but with the real forests it wouldn't have been possible, as the forests are known to be dense, with not much space around to experiment. Hence Shirish has come up with an idea to customize a forest set that will be manually made, according to the needs. This is what will cost the producers extra millions, which will burn a hole in their pocket, as the amount proposed for this lavish set is said to be nothing less than 3 crores.

The customized forest will be much like the forest in 'Alice in Wonderland', from which the film is said to be inspired.
