Despite of controversies and a civil suit against him, Aamir Khan's 'PK' mints Rs. 26.63 crores at the box office on its opening day.

According to a source this makes it the second highest grosser after 'Dhoom 3'.

As per trade reports, the film has shown 15% growth on the second day and might collect 29-29.50 crores, thus making a total of Rs. 55.63-56.13 crores approx.

Trade analyst Komal Nahta tweeted: "#PK 1st day all-India net collection: approx. Rs. 25.6 crore. Phenomenal considering that it's a social film. Word of mouth is fantastic."

If in the forthcoming days film touches 300 crore mark, it will be the biggest entertainer in Bollywood.
