(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Julia Stiles has moments where she becomes "totally not self-conscious or self-aware" on stage.

The American actress is famed for both her theatre and film roles.

Despite finding success on the big screen in movies such as 10 Things I Hate About You, Julia says her best career memories have been on stage.

"On stage, I've had experiences where I get so lost in the story that I become totally not self-conscious or self-aware. And that's so liberating," she explained in an interview with Psychologies magazine.

"But I couldn't narrow [the greatest moment] down to one single moment."

Julia has been nominated for a best guest actress in a drama series Emmy Award her role in Dexter.

Despite her success, the 30-year-old actress says she sometimes doubts her abilities.

"I have daily crises, honestly," she admitted.

"I've started to realise that everyone has crises of confidence at times. You don't have to deny that." (C) Cover Media
