The film 'Kahaani' that released at the beginning of 2012, was indeed a movie to feast on. A superb suspense-thriller by filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh starring Vidya Balan in the lead role, it was a major hit at the box office.

Now director Sujoy is all set to make a sequel to the first part, retaining the orginal cast.

The best part is that Vidya Balan will be seen in a 'new' avatar in 'Kahaani 2'. The director has asked the actress to lose weight as her role will have a few action scenes to pull off.

Not revealing too much of the script or details of when the shooting schedule will begin, the filmmaker has only stated that the movie will have a lot of physical activities that Vidya will have to do.

'Kahaani' was shot in Kolkata, which revolved around Vidya's character, who was in search of her missing husband.
