(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Justin Bieber will be releasing his first Christmas album this year.
The 17-year-old pop sensation has announced that he is wrapping up work on a festive record which will be released this year. He hopes his yuletide music will earn money for his favourite charities.
"So it's true...been in the studio doing something special for christmas. we are going to try and raise alot of money this year for charity (sic)!" Justin said on Twitter.
Bieber has supported numerous charities in the past, such as Children's Miracle Network, Jumpstart and Give Back Hollywood. He did not specify whether profits from his Christmas album will be donated to any specific philanthropic organisation.
The star has also been recording his second studio album, rumoured to be titled Believe, for several months with cutting-edge producers Tricky Stewart and Soundz. Justin has not released details on what musicians he may be collaborating with for his Christmas record. Both his holiday album and Believe are expected to be released this autumn. (C) Cover Media
