Kamal Haasan is an actor someone who has always known been for working really hard not just to promote his movies, but to promote the whole industry itself.
The actor, in his capacity as the chairman of Media & Entertainment Business Conclave (MEBC), Federation of Indian Chambers Of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), is making arrangements to hold an event in Chennai on October 16th and 17th.
A press meet will be held in Chennai on Tuesday, during which Kamal will throw light on various aspects of the event.
A press statement says, "The entire gamut of the entertainment industry - Films, Television, Music, Animation, Gaming and technology areas such as broadband and convergence have been covered at the past Conclave editions and their specific issues will again be attended to in 2012".
The press release adds, "For the special occasion of 100 years of Indian cinema we will have participations from various other states. Renowned superstars like Mammootty, Mohanlal, Shobhana and many others have already confirmed their presence for the event".
