The moment Kamal Haasan started hearing the script of 'Naanga', he couldn't resist meeting the team members. The entire star-cast is of newcomers and belong to the family from the film industry. The meeting went on for hours, as Kamal Haasan interacted with the youngsters for a very long time. It was all possible due to producer-director Santhana Bharathy, merely because he happens to be the close friend of Kamal Haasan and of course his son is making his debut with the film.

The film is directed by director Selvah, who earlier made some good commercial entertainers. The film revolves around bunch of college students, who after a long time meet each other and journey down the memory lane.

The film is scheduled to hit screens by the first week of June and Kamal Haasan has personally requested the makers to invite him for the preview.
