Kangana talks about her childhood

10th May 2013

Mom singing us lullabies and reading bed-time stories does bring back fond memories and even our Bollywood actors have spoken about the same when sharing their childhood memories with their fans and the media.

So it did come as a shock to many when Kangana Ranaut came out in the open to share her 'not-so-pleasant' memories when growing up with her mom Asha.

The actress did start out with expressing her gratitude for her mother, who taught her the basic lessons of life, but Kangana was quick to share that she is in fact quite scared of her mother.

Further expressing her experience with her mother during her childhood days, the actress was quite open to share that she does not remember her mom for the lullabies, but for her strict regime that she maintained at home.

It only got better as Kangana shared a personal experience when she was in fact beaten up with a broom as a child. And her personality at work as a strict Sanskrit teacher did reflect at home as well.

Then, Kangana gave it a positive witty twist by expressing that her mom has trained her in everything, but acting and she is good at washing dishes and cooking food so in case Bollywood does not work for her, she would still be all set.

A Mothers day 'thank you' note did take a different spin with Kangana opening up about her childhood, which not only surprised the fans but the media as well.
