(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kanye West has laughed off claims he is a member of the Illuminati.

Rap star Kanye, 33, recently unveiled his artistic short film Runaway, and some fans claimed after watching it there were echoes of Illuminati symbolism in the work - the Illuminati is an ancient secret society which conspiracy theorists claim rule the world.

Kanye was shocked to hear such claims, and took to his Twitter page to let the public know he has isnt even sure what the Iluminati is. He then questioned whether Illuminati members worship the devil, and jokingly pondered whether theres a social networking site like Facebook or Twitter for celebrity devil worshippers.

I've got question about the illuminati ... what is it exactly ???... and why do people think pop stars have a membership???!!! LOL,

"Is illuminati and devil worshipping like the same thing ... do they have a social network that celebs can sign up for? (sic), the star wrote on his Twitter page.

Kanye then teasingly mused whether various pieces of technology would allow him to contact Satan. The rapper was cautious not to label the devil as male or female as he didnt want to be accused of sexism.

"Question... can you devil worship on the new iphone??? LOL!!!

"What's better for devil worshipping Iphone or the Droid... Does lucifer return text... is he or she on Skype? Don't wanna be sexist, wrote the musician.
