Bollywood's highly acclaimed filmmaker Karan Johar is currently gung ho for his forthcoming film "Agneepath"  that has been made under his production banner. Karan since last few days has been going gaga over his film’s protagonist Hrithik Roshan who has stepped in the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan to play Vijay Dinanath Chauhan in the remake.

But Karan apart from praising Hrithik cleared the air over the comparison between the original and the remake. He even shunned comparisons between the protagonists of the two films claiming that both are diagonally different from each other.

"It is completely different from the original "Agneepath" ’because the original character was not the underdog. Here Hrithik plays an underdog. The role of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan in this film will be essayed by a young actor ." He further continued, "Vijay Dinanath was portrayed by Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) at a certain age. Here the character (Hrithik) is much younger and it is about how an underdog uplifts and rises against the villain. It is then that you feel the triumph of  the protagonist's spirit".
