Beating Mumbai heroes, Telugu Warriors and Chennai Rhinos once, Karnataka Bulldozers reached the finals of the Celebrity Cricket League. The team at last faced defeat at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad. Chennai Rhinos clinched the trophy of the Celebrity Cricket League. The trophy was handed over to Sarath Kumar by Sridevi Boney Kapoor while Kichcha Sudeep received the runner-up trophy from Subhash Ghai, eminent director of Hindi filmdom.

The main satisfaction is that in the first round Karnataka Bulldozers beat all the other three teams in a row, playing like champions.

Winning the toss and electing to field the initial over, did cost heavy for Karnataka Bulldozers and they could restrict the Chennai Rhinos to 188 in 20 over. Batting next, the regular key players failed to click, including the flamboyant player Dhruva Kumar. It was only Bharath who could take the Karnataka Bulldozers team up to 165. Sudeep scored a decent 28 runs.

Ambarish, Shatrugna Sinha, Mohan Babu, Murali Mohan, Radhika of Radan, Madhuri Bhattaharaya, Shriya Saran, Sonia Agarwal were seen among others at the final match at Hyderabad.
