The makers of Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer 'Kedarnath' dropped its official trailer; it begins introducing one of the Holy pilgrim place from the Uttrakhand valley Kedarnath and how devotees mark their way to the prestigious Lord Shiva temple.
Scenes pan from Mandakini river towards Kedarnath and we are introduced to a Muslim 'sevak' Mansoor who resides down the valley from generations to generation. It is a Hindu pretty pilgrim Mukku (Sara) who is accompanied by this helper and how they are inclined towards one other. They are in love but abandoned by society however the passion for wanting each other does not fade away. A scene from the trailer where Sara even curse the holy place to be hit by a disaster and that's what happens next. Even the VFX are up to the mark.
The trailer has some visually alluring locations of Devbhoomi and its lush green mountains, to begin with, however, a love story embedded in the natural calamity won't be everyone's cup of tea as the audiences are concerned. Also, the Hindu-Muslim love story might attract some controversy before the film's release.
Kedarnath marks the debut of Sara Ali Khan and also presents the second association of Abhishek Kapoor with Ronnie Screwvala along Sushant Singh Rajput after 'Kai Po Che'. Helmed by Abhishek Kapoor 'Kedarnath' is slated to release on 7th December 2018.
