(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kelly Osbourne cried as she spoke about her mothers cancer battle on a television show.

The 26-year-old star has a close relationship with her famous parents; Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy and television personality Sharon, as well as with her brother Jack, 25, and her sister Aimee, 27.

The Osbourne family was rocked in 2002 when Sharon was diagnosed with colon cancer, although after a brave two-year battle she overcame the illness.

Kelly discussed the ordeal on Sharons television show The Talk, shedding a tear as she explained how shed moved into the hospital to be at her mothers side.

Kelly thinks the public are wrong to presume Sharon has an easy life, just because shes rich and famous.

"People automatically assume that once you're in the public eye, everything's amazing and your life has always been amazing because you're in Hollywood, but you know, my mom has had the hardest life you could ever imagine," she explained.

The star admitted Sharons illness has had a profound effect on her outlook on life. Thinking she could lose her mother made Kelly realise family is all that really matters.

"[Going through a family member's cancer makes] you realise that at the end of the day, all you have is your family," she added. (C) Cover Media
