(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kelly Preston looks set to join her husband John Travolta for the new movie about the Gotti family.

It has been confirmed that John has landed the role of John Gotti Sr. in the biopic entitled Gotti: Three Generations, and it has now been reported Kelly will play the wife of the late mafia don.

The casting is believed to have been confirmed to RadarOnline.com by the movies executive producer Marc Fiore.

Marc Fiore exclusively told us that the actress will play John Gotti Sr.'s wife Victoria, alongside her husband, reports the website.

The film will follow the relationship between John Gotti Sr., the head of the Gambino crime family who died in prison in 2002, and his son John Gotti Jr., who took over the family business for his father.

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan was recently added to the cast as Kim Gotti, Johns daughter-in-law.

Lindsay has known the Gotti family since she was a young girl and has been linked to a range of roles within the movie. Last week she revealed she is looking forward to working with John.

I'm really excited to be back on set and clear up all the misinterpretations about me and show this is what I love to do, she said. I think it's such an iconic story. I'm honoured to be working with John Travolta and Joe Pesci.

Gotti: Three Generations will be shot in New York and directed by Nick Cassavetes, who previously worked with John on Face/Off. (C) Cover Media
