Kelly Rowland says new mom Beyonc looks "hot".

Earlier this week, the singer made her first public appearance since giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy.

Supporting husband Jay-Z on the two nights he was playing New York City's Carnegie Hall, the Love on Top star stepped out in two breathtaking dresses.

On Monday evening she wore a clinging red dress by Temperley label Alice, before rocking a figure-hugging sequined frock by Monique Lhuillier on Tuesday night.

"She looks fantastic. She looks fantastic. I told her she looks so hot!" Kelly told MTV News. "She looks so hot; just even sexy. Love her!"

Kelly and Beyonc's former Destiny's Child bandmate Michelle Williams also couldn't contain her excitement.

She gushed that her friend looked "amazing", but explained she knew the pop star wouldn't have any trouble getting back into shape.

"Man, she looks amazing, amazing, amazing, amazing," Michelle gushed. "I wasn't surprised because even before she was pregnant she had a six-pack, she was very toned. So, obviously it just went back very quickly."

The singer also described her first meeting with her pal's baby daughter.

Michelle said that the whole family are blissfully happy and added that Blue Ivy is simply "beautiful".

"Everybody's doing fantastic, amazing," she said. "We all just stared at her. I just stared at her. She is so beautiful."
