(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kim Kardashian is "about to start" planning her wedding.

The reality TV star is engaged to basketball player Kris Humphries, who she's been dating for around six months. There are rumours the pair want to tie the knot in July or August and Kim's pal Brittny Gastineau has confirmed she is keen to commence preparations.

"I can't believe that the time has come. I've known her for so many years, we've always talked about marriage and when the day was going to happen, and the fact that it's happening is crazy," she said.

"[Wedding planning is] about to start."

Brittny added Kim and Kris are made for each other. She knows some think they are rushing into the nuptials, but believes sceptics would soon change their minds if they saw the couple together.

"I can honestly say they are madly in love," she told Us Weekly. "He brings the best out of her, and they just work together!"

Kris popped the question with a ring believed to have cost $2 million. Kim has previously explained her family, including sisters Kourtney and Khlo didn't believe her when she first said she was engaged, and only came round after several minutes of persuasion.

It's unknown whether Kim's wedding with feature on her reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but Khlo has joked that whatever happens the big day will rival the recent royal wedding of Britain's Prince William and Catherine Middleton. (C) Cover Media
