She also showed that she may be a country girl at heart and enjoyed water sports and more leisurely activities than usual.

The 30-year-old reality star went to Kris Humphries' Midwestern hometown of Minnesota rather than her usual exploits of partying in New York or Las Vegas.

Kim took to social networking site Twitter to tell her fans about how she was spending the holiday weekend.

"Kind of obsessed with Lake Minnetonka! Boats & O's!" she tweeted. "It's like Vegas on the lake over here!"

Despite being a basketball player, Kim also watched her beau throw out the first pitch during the Minnesota Twins baseball game where fans said the starlet was nice to everyone, according to Us Weekly.

Kim and Kris are set to tie the knot later this summer after becoming engaged back in May after just six months of dating. (C) Cover Media
