Highly celebrated filmmaker Karan Johar (KJo) who has given the film industry some of the most memorable films of our times has proved through his films what 'Larger than Life' actually means. And when it comes to enjoying the very life, no one knows the art better than KJo.
The filmmaker who has turned 40 today is all set for his big birthday bash for which the who's who of the industry have been invited. The birthday not only embarks his entry into the '40' club, but it also marks completion of nearly two decades of his ever growing career as a filmmaker.
However, after turning 40, he exclaims that he would love if something would change in his personal life too, "It is also a landmark date because nothing has happened in my personal life, I'm hoping the new decade will embrace me personally, allowing me a lot of 'me' time," said Karan.
"The reason I want to celebrate today with my friends and family is because I can't think of another occasion that merits this kind of mood and indulgence. I'm not getting married, so turning 40 is a good enough reason to kick off my shoes and dance!" he added.
