The release of the long-awaited Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone starrer 'Kochadaiiyaan' has been postponed yet again.

After being postponed several times earlier, the film was finally slated to release on April 11 alongside Amitabh Bachchan's 'Bhootnath Returns', however, the release has been pushed to another date again.

According to sources, the film will now release on May 1.

This is the fifth time that the film's release has been postponed. Sources believe that the reason for the latest postponement is the Lok Sabha elections in April.
