Kristin Cavallari's fianc admits that he is just "along for the ride" with wedding plans.

The 24-year-old TV star announced that her engagement is back on to American football player Jay Cutler last month.

The couple were set to wed earlier this year, but abruptly called their marriage plans off in July.

Now that the couple are officially getting married again, Jay admits that he has little involvement in planning the ceremony.

"I don't really make a lot of [wedding] decisions," Jay said on the Windy City's Waddle & Silvy ESPN radio show.

"I hear about them in passing or if I have to possibly write a cheque or something like that, but other than that, whatever she wants to do, I'm on board."

When asked if he had any specific wishes for the ceremony, Jay could offer few suggestions.

"[You're] asking the wrong person," he laughed. "[I'm] just kind of along for the ride."

Although the pair reneged on their plans to tie the knot earlier in the year, Kristin and Jay now seem to be elated with their current relationship.

"Things have been going really well," a friend of the couple told People magazine. "They're happy together. They just now understand each other a lot better. He understands what she needs and she totally supports him. They're there for each other."
