The entire film industry work hand in hand, be it Bollywood, Hollywood, Kollywood and more. Inspired by one and other, the movie-makers from all the towns want to remake movies of different languages and genres in their own.

This trend was started by Priyadarshan, who took stories from Mollywood, changed the script a little and viola, a super-duper Bollywood flick was made. Next we have the actor turned choreographer and director Prabhu Deva who has given us hits like 'Wanted' and 'Rowdy Rathore' which are also inspired from the South.

Following the trend we have K.S. Ravikumar, who will be remaking the Tamil movie 'Saamy' in Hindi. It is heard that the director has approached top writers Farhad-Sajid to work on the screenplay and dialogues of his Bollywood debut.

The Hindi version will star Sanjay Dutt and Prachi Desai in the lead roles and apparently, the shooting for the movie has already begun.
