'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' set for an international remake

From our actors to our films, Bollywood is certainly leaving an impression.

While till date, our filmmakers have taken inspiration from international films, it's our turn now to be the source of influence for them.

We hear, Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma starrer 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' is being remade in the South American country. Produced by Yash Raj Films , the romantic-comedy is set to be remade in Spanish.

According to a trade report in the US magazine, Variety, a Colombia-based production company has joined hands with Aditya Chopra's banner to remake the film. The Bollywood film itself was touted to be inspired from Jesse Metcalfe's 2006 Hollywood hit, 'John Tucker Must Die'.

The Spanish film will be shot in the Colombian cities of Bogota, Cali and Cartagena.
