Lady Gaga interested in antiques

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lady Gaga has become hooked on antiques, according to a source.

The eccentric singer, who is known for her love of outrageous clothes, has reportedly become engrossed in popular British TV show Antiques Roadshow after recently receiving a box set as a gift.

The 25-year-old American star has been watching the DVDs, while her crew have also been forced to share her love of all things antique in the process.

A source has revealed Gaga's interest in vintage memorabilia is keeping her entertained while on the road.

"Lady Gaga is really into her antiques so British pals thought she might be interested in the programme," a source told British newspaper The Sun. "It went down a storm and Gaga hasn't stopped watching the DVDs. She loves how the old people think their antique is a bit of tat but ends up costing thousands. It's right up her street."

Gaga is no stranger to antiques, having collected pieces for some time. The songstress also has an extensive collection of memorabilia including screen legend Judy Garland's iconic red shoes from her role as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz.

The shoes from the classic 1939 film are worth 25,000, and were given to Gaga as a gift from her management earlier this year.

Gaga has recently done shows in Japan, Singapore and Taiwan in preparation for her world tour which is likely to start at the end of the year. (C) Cover Media
