(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy says the cast are looking forward to paying homage to Lady Gaga.

The award-winning American television show revolves around a group of high school misfits who belong to a musical club. Previous episodes have paid tribute to acts including Britney Spears, Madonna, Katy Perry, Journey, Amy Winehouse, Rihanna, Duffy and Kanye West.

In the first season of the series, a whole episode was dedicated to some of Lady Gagas hits and it has been revealed the cast will be performing a track from her new album in an upcoming programme.

Chris Colfer, who won a Golden Globe Award for his portrayal of gay student Kurt Hummel, will be involved in the scene and Ryan has revealed the cast cant wait to belt out the track.

We have the rights to do an episode about the lead song off her new album, Born This Way, which is amazing, Ryan told Access Hollywood. It will involve Max [Adler, who plays bully Dave Karofsky], and Darren [Criss, who plays openly gay high school student Blaine], and Chris, and actually the whole cast cause its an anthem about being true to who you are which is what Glee is about so were very excited to pay homage to her.

A host of stars including Britney Spears, Gwyneth Paltrow and Olivia Newton John have already appeared in Glee. It has now been confirmed Anne Hathaway will be the next famous face to star in an episode. The Hollywood actress will play Kurts lesbian aunt, the long lost sister of his late mother.
