The singer performed at the iHeartRadio music festival this past weekend in Las Vegas.

Last week a 14-year-old fan of Gaga named Jamey Rodemeyer committed suicide. Gaga was deeply affected by Jamey's death. According to E! Online, the singer dedicated her song Hair to his memory during Saturday's show.

"I lost a little monster this week and I'd like to dedicate this song to him," Lady Gaga said onstage while Jamey's photograph bannered the background on the big screen. "Tonight, Jamey I know you're up there and looking at us and you're not a victim. Bullying is for losers. Put your hands up for Jamey!"

The homosexual teen was viciously teased by peers before his death due to his sexual orientation. Jamey left a string of posts on social networking sites about his turmoil.

His final two messages before taking his life paid homage to Gaga. Jamey thanked the star for her music and quoted a lyric from her song The Queen, writing, "Don't forget me when I come crying to heaven's door."

Jamey's death made a big impact on Gaga. The singer took to Twitter last week to express her sentiments about the teen's demise.

"Jamey Rodemeyer, 14 yrs old, took his life because of bullying. Bullying must become be illegal. It is a hate crime," Lady Gaga tweeted.

"I am meeting with our President. I will not stop fighting. This must end. Our generation has the power to end it [sic]." (C) Cover Media
